Mike joined RGQ as a writer in May 2005 and has since taken over the role of publisher.
Mike has worked as a mainframe programmer for over 30 years to keep the family fed. This job afforded the opportunity to live in several cities as well as travel to many others. Having spent time in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Dallas, Texas, Mike returned to his home state of Arkansas in 1998.
While living in Santa Fe, he was able to pursue his interest in art and in 1996 was fortunate enough to be commissioned to create a life-sized sculpture for the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The sculpture was to promote the long running show, “The Crazy Girls” which celebrated it’s 10 anniversary in 1997. A page dedicated to the creation and unveiling of the sculpture can be found at http://www.crazygirlssculpture.freeservers.com/.
