You have been reading this ezine for varying amounts of times. It was first published with Bruce as sole writer/contributor on August 2, 2002. Different writers have come and gone in the intervening five and half years. The issues went from quite small and five days a week to quite large and three days a week. Bruce has been the driving force behind Really Good Quotes and I enjoy the articles, jokes, pictures, comments, poetry, and writing my small piece as well. But really, what do we know about Bruce? I know a secret. I know that Bruce is not only a gifted writer, but an inventor. I know that Bruce is not only an inventor, but actually the kind of inventor that gets patents for his products. I know that Bruce’s brainchild is not something like the Hawaii Chair or the Tiddy Bear (as seen on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and infomercials worldwide). In fact, Bruce’s invention is awe inspiring. Bruce couldn’t be here this week because he has been in Houston. He was showing his new energy system – yes, that’s what I said – Bruce developed and patented an energy system. His idea is a non-polluting, sustainable, efficient method for producing electricity to power our homes and businesses. I’m not the only one impressed with Bruce’s achievements. He spent the last couple days speaking with representatives from Shell Oil’s research team out of The Netherlands. They may be flying him to The Netherlands to further explain his ideas. Those ideas are also making their way to print in an energy trade journal in May. He has an animation for his system up on You Tube. Please feel free to take a peek. You Tube is like a popularity contest and the more hits a video gets, the higher up in the standings it goes – so feel free to pass the link around, as well. Did you know that Bruce did this stuff when he wasn’t writing? Isn’t it amazing? That’s why this week’s RGQ has been a little different. Perhaps you could join me in wishing our very own Bruce the best of luck. Dear Boss, may you find every success. Patti – hoping to be able to write about this as one more historical
event some time in the near future. |
